Colored pencil practice with the Castle cast#5, Nathan Fillion and Stana Katic
Nathan's head is bigger than Stana's in real life of course, but I think it's too big in this picture by a little bit. The spot on his darker cheek is a bit messed up too but I had practically erased the grain of the paper away at that point so can't do anything more to it without starting over and I really didn't want to do that considering it's just for fun/practice. All things considered, I'm okay with it for now.

Overall Vision Originality Technique ImpactWow, this is so good! Your shading of the skin and hair is great. However, I do think the shadow on the side of his nose is a little too dark. Prehaps in the future you could lighten it up a bit? When people light for tv shows and portraits they always include a fill light to lighten up the side of the nose because it can be very distracting to the viewer. I do like the shadow on Stana's face; it's softer and not as dark. I also really love the detail you put into their eyes and facial expressions. A fantastic job!
